STATEMENT OF FAITH :
FAITH CONFESSION OF BETHEL INDONESIAN CHURCH
We believe that:
1. The Bible, the Old Testament and the New Testament are the Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit.
2 The One True God is the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, three in one.
3. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God Born to the Virgin Mary who is sheltered by the Holy Spirit. That Jesus was crucified, died, was buried, and was resurrected on the third day of the dead. That he had ascended into heaven and sat at the right hand of God the Father as Lord, Saviour and our mediator.
4. All mankind have sinned to lose the glory of God so that they must repent and turn to God to receive the forgiveness of sins.
5. Justification and new birth occurs because of faith in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ wrought by the power of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.
6. Every repentant person must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
7. The purification of life is a new birth fruit by believing in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ wrought by the power of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.
8. Chastity is the basic and Christian life principle.
9. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the gift of God to all who have been cleansed in his heart.
10. The sign of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking with a varied language as inspired by the Holy Spirit.
11. The Holy Communion is done every time to establish our fellowship with God and one another.
12. Divine Healing is available in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for all believers.
13. The Lord Jesus Christ will come again to resurrect all his dead people and lift up all his living people and together meet him in the air, then he will establish a millennial kingdom on this earth.
14. In the end all the dead will be resurrected. The righteous will rise to the first resurrection and receive eternal life, but the wicked will rise to the second resurrection and receive condemnation forever.
